Prospect Forestation Board Special Meeting Minutes

Present: Lee Tucci, Connie Kuhn, Linda Knox, Sylvia Quaye, Herb Shulhafer, Andrea Hanlon, Mayor Farnsley, John Carter, Ron Cundiff, Don Gibson
The meeting was held to discuss and evaluate the Chase Timber Ridge tree plans that are subject to the Prospect ordinance. Location evaluation by Andrea and Herb suggested that 5 that could be saved, with 6 smaller crab apples being removed. New planting is recommended, but with 2 in. caliper trees vs. 1.5. She also recommended tree varieties that would be better suited to this area and more likely to be available from local nurseries.

The next meeting is scheduled for Feb. 8.
